- PREPARATION (you don't have to go through all these instructions to play the game with your students, simply download the template!)
- On slide one, insert a picture of a tree and insert pictures of apples on the tree.
- Each apple inserted on the tree will link to one of the slides on the presentation.
- Create hyperlinks on each apple to link to the questions from slide 2 to the last slide.
- From slide 2 to the last slide write the exercises to be completed and be sure to include bombs and bonus and also to create an icon to link back to slide one.
- Insert animation on each apple.
- click on animations tab, then "custom animation".
- click on the category "exit", and choose one of the types available (I chose "disappear").
- on the animation itself, click on the arrow to see more options, then click "timing".
- a dialog box will appear. Click on "trigger" then chose the image of the apple to shoot the animation, that is, the animation chosen will only happen when you click on that specific apple.
- Divide the class into teams.
- In turns, each team chooses an apple. The teacher clicks on the apple to open the hyperlinked slide.
- Students answer the question. Click on the icon to go back to slide one.
- Each correct answer is a point. Bombs make teams lose one point and bonus give them two extra points.
- The team with most points wins the game.
